Elegant feather fascinator featuring a pair of striking Woodcock wings preserved and dried in an open position, showing the striking natural markings and colours of the feathers. The wings have been mounted away from the base appears to be soaring down the face. Extra feathers have been added on the top and underside of the wings to perfect their shape and blend them into each other and the base. The wings are attached to a small round sinamay base covered in blue velvet and secured with a narrow metal hair band hand wrapped in black satin ribbon. Lightweight and comfortable to wear perfect for special events and Ladies Day at the races.
The base measures approximately 7cm in diameter, the wings measure approximately 41cm tip to tip.

Delicately crafted with an abundance of carefully selected and placed feathers with great attention to details, makes this a unique and high-quality item. The feathers for this piece are sourced from a game farm in Norfolk, the feathers are normally discarded. I think that this is such a shame and waste of a stunning natural resource, that I endeavour to preserve and transform them into a stunning and unique piece for you to cherish and keep.

Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, I do! Please contact me and we can discuss options and quotes. Although I am currently not taking custom orders for flower crowns or flower hair clips.
Can I return or exchange a custom item?
No, sales on custom or altered items are final and can not be returned or exchanged
What information is needed for a custom order?
Most importantly please let me know the date you need the item by and the country it would be delivered to. Then any ideas about the design you have i.e colour, size, shape. Are there any of my items you would like the design based on / inspired by? Reference images are useful, especially colour swatches.
