Elegant and classic couture feather fascinator bandeau headband featuring a hand-blocked and stitched 3d felt base covered with soft and sumptuous goose feathers. The featehrs have been hand -dyed in sage and teal greens with subtle variation in tone creating an ombre watercolour effect with beautiful depth and texture. The bandeau has then be overlaid with a sweep of stunning vintage veiling in rich green.
This veiling is a beautiful quality with an unusual weave and soft texture - nothing like modern veiling, it has been placed to skim the eyes and can be pulled back over the band if desired.
An easy-to-wear style, flattering and versatile.

The base is 9cm at its widest point, the topline length is 34 cm offering full crown coverage. This piece has a subtle height if 1.5 cm that helps to showcase the stunning texture of the feathers.
Secured in the hair with a plastic slide hair comb and hat elastic and finished inside with velvet ribbon for a no slip fit.
Lightweight, secure and comfortable with no tight headband you will hardly know it's there!
This piece has been lovingly hand sewn from scratch by me in my studio in Berkshire.

Do you accept custom orders?
Yes, I do! Please contact me and we can discuss options and quotes. Although I am currently not taking custom orders for flower crowns or flower hair clips.
Can I return or exchange a custom item?
No, sales on custom or altered items are final and can not be returned or exchanged
What information is needed for a custom order?
Most importantly please let me know the date you need the item by and the country it would be delivered to. Then any ideas about the design you have i.e colour, size, shape. Are there any of my items you would like the design based on / inspired by? Reference images are useful, especially colour swatches.
